I know its early but I couldn't wait! Day 26 of Ineffable May Prompt Halo.
Blowing up his Halo required a great deal of magic and energy. Aziraphale collapses shortly after blowing up his Halo and Crowley takes care of him while he rests.
Summary is not that great but I promise the story is a little better. Oneshot! Please let me know what you think!

Summary
AU of Episode 4. The Bookshop fire didn't happen. The Bentley didn't burn and Aziraphale didn't discorporate. Instead the angels cornered Aziraphale in the bookshop instead of the street when they interrogated him about working with Crowley. And they rough him up a bit more than they did in the episode.

Aziraphale hasn't been in Heaven long when he is told the details of the Second Coming. He decides he is not the right Angel for the job and tries to leave. The Metatron is not happy and Sandalphon steps into the picture. All Aziraphale wants is to go home.

Crowley is left alone on Earth, devastated and furious.
As Aziraphale struggles to stop the Second Coming from above, Crowley refuses to give up on him. But Heaven will stop at nothing to keep them apart — even if it means dragging long-buried secrets into the light.
This is the finale we actually deserved.
