Summary
He sketched the skylines of cities with the knowledge that, in a century, while the city may remain, the skyline would be entirely different. He painted animals, preserving their image in vibrant pigments that he could look back at once the humans inevitably drove the creatures to extinction. The majority of the pieces had one common subject however, featuring curls, and unnecessary reading glasses and truly unfashionable suits which were always at least 50 years out of date.

In which Crowley was once an Angel of Art and ponders the permanence of the world when you are a celestial being. -

On the 11th of November 2038 Connor stood by Markus' as one of the five androids who helped to bring about the revolution. By the 18th he'd left Markus' side.

When he looks around Jericho he sees androids who have found a home, a place they belong - they're happy in Jericho. Connor isn't. Without the constant work he was programmed for and the complexity of a crime he finds himself lost. And the dull ache of loneliness in his chest won't fade and his thoughts keep circling back to the Lieutenant he hasn't seen in a week and he decides that perhaps he'll find his place he belongs as Hank's partner again - if the Lieutenant would take him back. (Spoiler, he would)
Featuring a case, some severe feelings denial, not actually unrequited feelings, android existential crises, and eventually, a happy ending for Connor and Hank -

Summary
In two decades of my rather successful career, if I do say so myself, I have found that language is my first defence while working. That isn’t, of course, to say it is my only defence. I am a thief, a con artist, at times an assassin - although in more recent months that is not one I would admit to readily. My lady love is such a sensitive soul afterall and assassination comes with far too much blood for his taste.
But whichever job I am working at that one time, my sharpened tongue can be of as much use as my sharpened knife.
So perhaps it shouldn’t have been surprising to me that settling into something stable, something that felt permanent, for the first time - building a relationship with that lady love of mine - I admit I found myself thinking far more about who I am than I ever had before.
-
A study of different forms of communication and learning who you are through it, featuring flirting with marks, homesickness, accents both fake and real, speaking your mother-tongue for the first time in over a decade, and the inherent homoeroticism and romance of your significant other learning your language -

Summary
"Very few planets or moons or even satellites inhabited by humans in their never ending quest of outward expansion held onto outdated and frankly barbaric views of gender.
Sadly, the small Outer Rim planet of Iphis was one of them.
Long dark hair hidden beneath a black hood, loose black clothes to hide my form, a rarely worn binder concealed beneath, heavy boots more Juno’s style, the knife belt across my torso more Vespa’s, no make-up at all...
It didn’t look like Peter Nureyev. It didn’t look right, it didn’t feel- Fold it away.
It was fine, of course. "
---
In which the Crime Crew go to a Transphobic Planet and Peter Nureyev is totally okay with it until he's not. Thankfully Juno is there to pick up the pieces and remind him he is valid. Gender's fun huh? -

Summary
Juno Steel was reported dead 24 hours after Dark Matters agent Director W boarded the Carte Blanche. Peter Nureyev knew this because he had read the report exactly 73 times in the past 42 days.
-
After the initial attack by Dark Matters, Peter Nureyev did what he does best and ran. He had a plan for saving his family, he just needed time. However, only a day later Juno's death report was issued by Dark Matters. So Nureyev kept running. Under the name of Orpheus Black he tried to keep going with being a thief, and rapidly finds his heart isn't in it.
So when he finds himself on the end of a blaster to the head Peter Nureyev stops running and gives up.
At least he'll be with Juno that way.

Summary
Jaskier got into trouble a lot, that was normal. But not until he was too late to help Jaskier did Geralt ever realise that Jaskier was perfectly capable of solving his own issues. He has the ability to turn a whole argument on its head, unfailingly coming out the victor with a smile on his face, and the slightly burnt scent of pure magic in the air. Every time Geralt asked how exactly he got himself out of some new impossible situation Jaskier had just smiled and offered a well crafted but purposefully vague answer. Usually relating to a deal of some form, or a favour that Geralt didn’t really know if he wanted to know any more details of.
-
Or - Jaskier isn’t quite human, Geralt can tell that much. What he can’t figure out is exactly what Jaskier is.
Featuring misunderstandings, very confused and slightly oblivious Geralt, morally grey and at times ominously terrifying Jaskier and some healthy doses of angst. -

Summary
Nobel's have many rules associated with love and how one behaves while in love. Many of them are ridiculous - Jaskier knows this. Many of them also have their merits - Jaskier also knows this. He also knows that he wants a certain Witcher and the romance of these Courtly Love rules find their way into their little developing relationship
Or
Just another story of these two idiots being oblivious and pining for eachother over the years, until it reaches a breaking point. (featuring Jaskier reassuring Geralt he deserves love because damnnit I love the soft bois)
Edit 05/03/20 - now spell checked - I hope I didn't miss anything. -

Summary
“When all is over, the only things that will be left are your own memories. Treasured moments. Your name, your impact. It will all disappear.”
Jaskier didn’t consider himself to be particularly nihilistic or morose – really he didn’t. A bard’s job was to immortalise past moments, to use them to bring joy to the present. He lived in the moment, making the most of every single second – tomorrow be damned. Because if you could make something amazing today you can die happy tomorrow.-
Jaskier is injured trying to save Geralt on what was supposed to be a simple enough contract and as his life flashes before his eyes he's struck by just how unfair it seems that Geralt is the most important person to him, the one who features in so many of Jaskier's own beloved memories, and yet the Witcher will long outlive and forget him, Or at least that's what Jaskier assumes

It's Sherry's first birthday after Leon took her as his own child after Raccoon City - and somehow organising a birthday party and making the cake is so much more stressful than a city of Zombies. Thankfully Chris is there to help. Domestic fluff and cake icing abound.

'Too Hot : A game where the two players kiss without stopping and without touching each other. If one player touches the other, s/he loses. The winner gets to do whatever s/he wants to the loser.'
Nights ending in Gavin's kitchen at Gavin's apartment were becoming progressively more common the longer Nines worked with the detective. Even if the human was beginning to catch Nines in the act with his stolen glances and staring and appreciating. All it took was a drink or two, enough to loosen them both up, and a kissing game to take this where they both desperately wanted.

Summary
'Gavin watched the puff of smoke that left his lips with detached interest as it floated into the night air, catching the light from his apartment behind him. The bright flash of a stray firework off to his left drew his eye in time for the resounding 'bang' to reach his ears. For what must have been the first time since joining the force had the Fourth of July off work.'
It was just a shame he was alone to watch the fireworks since Nines was working. Or he was meant to be working anyway.

Summary
Oneirophobia - the fear of dreams.
Gavin has had a pretty fucked up life by most peoples standards. Shitty upbringing led to shitty nightmares which led to shitty insomnia and caffeine addictions and trying desperately not to keep flashing back to those horrible memories. It's been a while since his last bad patch - so when it happens again it's the first time with Nines as his partner. And Nines refuses to let him just continue the tried and tested self destructive tendencies he's used to cope his whole life up until now. Gavin can't understand why Nines even cares - or why he's being so nice, and considerate, and touchy, and why he keeps frowning in that sad way. Hell, Gavin can almost convince himself that Nines actually cares.Series
