However, since they have never seen Bruce sick in their life, every one of his children believe that "being sick" was actually a code for wishing to be alone. Maybe it's better that way, nobody should ever see him like this.

    Or, Bruce Wayne learns the hard way how to allow himself to be vulnerable around the people he loves while running high on a fever and extremely emotional.
