Martin hates hospitals.
It’s everything for him. The clean feeling. The fact that people are literally getting paid to stick by Martin’s side day in and day out. The terrible manufactured cold. The shitty blankets that barely cover his body. He’ll miss his apartment and his bed and his desk and being able to shower without someone hanging by the bathroom door. Martin will usually want to go back home the moment he steps foot inside.
The staff know him by name now, at least. He supposes it’s better than being faced with someone new each time he walks in.
