Summary
“I want to tell you something,” Chuuya finally admitted, and he had to say it quickly, or he wouldn’t have said it at all, the words all tacky.
Curious, Kouyou leaned in. It was interesting, really, how someone could be so poised—even while doing the most mundane things. “I’m listening,” the young woman assured, some strands of her salmon-colored hair shifting ever so slightly.
Despite the storm in his mind, Chuuya finally tells Kouyou the truth.

Summary
“You’re binding with bandages?” he questioned, his voice level. Admittedly, the fact didn’t surprise him, but he couldn’t imagine that the material did any good. It wasn’t supportive. It wasn’t durable. It wasn’t breathable.
“They work fine,” Dazai stated, giving his answer. As Oda took another sip of his drink, the taste of whiskey—smooth, complex—brushing against his tongue, he noted what a shame it would be, really, for Dazai to suffocate from the bandages that he used as a shield.
Dazai has yet another harmful habit. Oda tries to fix this one.

Summary
The clerk caught the mistake immediately, overanalytical. Sternly, this time, noting that a different approach might enforce the memory, Sigma corrected, “He.”
Ranpo slowly glanced back at him, his lips in a line. “Oh,” he said flatly—and wasn’t that rude? When Sigma suspected, perhaps, that an apology might follow, because that was normal, the detective added, “I thought you had figured it out already.”
Based on his recent slip-ups, Sigma is convinced that Ranpo isn’t as smart as everyone thinks. Dazai disagrees.

Summary
Forcing himself to believe him, Chuuya tried to ensure the steadiness of his voice. He would be a stone pillar; a mountain. “I'm a boy—”
“I know,” Dazai interrupted.
Any preparation—half-thought sentences; words from before—slipped from Chuuya’s mind, his lips slightly parted. A second passed, then another, and the mafioso blinked quickly before he snapped, “Let me finish, asshole. I'm a boy,” he started, trying to regain his strength, “but I wasn't always a boy.”
Chuuya’s reflection is a catalyst for resentment. It is also a catalyst for change.

Summary
“Hmm?” Atsushi hummed, confused, noticing her absence and turning his head. Seeing her in place, he stopped walking, spinning to take her in more easily.
Laughably, the redhead met his multicolored gaze—attentive, curious—and pointed downwards, like a fascinated toddler. “I wish I was like that.”
On a shared walk after work, Lucy realizes that there might be something else wrong with her.
