“Yes, those are actions we can take using energy.” Vergil agreed. “But that is not the base responsibility. It functions to keep you alive. It is your power. Your strength, just as is your blood. You know if you lose too much blood, you will lose consciousness. The same thing happens if you overexert yourself and use up more energy than you have to support yourself. And you,” Vergil paused as his head turned to look Nero in the eyes, which Nero reluctantly met as he twisted to look over at him, “were flaunting a lot of your abilities this week.”

Credo beats Nero on the bridge.
The fact that Credo turns on the Order right after that is irrelevant, he’s already delivered his sister and protégé to them, all but gift wrapped.
Because of that, Nero and Kyrie spend just a little more time inside the ‘Savior’ before they’re rescued.
And Sanctus’ rambling becomes a lot more relevant.

As she unlatches the locks, twisting the doorknob and pulling it open just enough for her to peek and lean her head and shoulder out of the doorway, she gasps softly at the sight before her, swinging the door open fully.
