Barely, just barely, Geshu Lin managed to keep himself from decking the stammering officer right then and there, useless just like the rest of the dozen or so Rangers crowding the hallway.

Summary
Based on the 3.6 WUWA MSQ - The Huaxu Academy detected a foreign frequency with great resemblance to Geshu Lin. But while the Midnight Rangers are investigating if Ovathrax is about to resurrect, a familiar shadow sneaks into camp at night.
Or: Geshu Lin just wants his weapon back but ends up with Jiyan passed out in his arms and sticky bed sheets.
First chapter is pure plot, 2+3 will be pure smut.
Geshu Lin drew a sharp breath, barely keeping his composure. “Go to sleep, General of the Midnight Rangers. There’s nothing for you to see here.”, his voice faltered, “Nothing to save. Just a shadow.”
“The shadow that haunts me in my dreams would never call me General.”
“What do you want to call me then? Betrayer? Deserter?” Overcome with fury, Geshu Lin whirled around, glaring right at the golden eyes which had haunted him for so many nights. His lips curled into a warped grin: “The damned snake that betrayed my trust, fed me to the Threnodian and then took my place with a smile?”
“Sounds more like it.”UPDATE : THIS STORY WILL HAVE THREE CHAPTERS!
