Iouri tore his thoughts from Leontiy’s eye, inhaling sharply. “I’ve seen how you look at me.” He said.
Leontiy instantly flushed bright red. “W-what do you mean?” He spluttered, clearly off guard. Iouri narrowed his eyes.
“You follow me like a little dog. You watch me when you think I don’t see you. I know the look.” He swept his tongue over his lips. “Still, you aren’t in trouble. I’m not mad.”
Leontiy’s face was beet red. He looked like he was retreating into his hazmat suit, letting the yellow plastic swallow his chin, then his lips. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Leontiy.” Iouri let his voice drop, an annoyed edge making itself known. “Stop pretending. It isn’t cute.”
