Set post The Matrix: Revolutions (2003), with reference to The Matrix: Resurrections (2021), I am calling this series an AU, AU. "Once More Chance" is an alternate universe of the Resurrections timeline.
What if Neo and Trinity had a chance at a life together as Thomas and Tiffany? What if they were gifted the time to breathe, heal, laugh, and love without a time limit? What if the machines not only allowed it, but encouraged it? We meet these characters as they meet each other, both facing decisions that would change their lives (into who they would be in Resurrections), the two turn to each other, a beacon of hope that they did not know they needed. We get a chance to live with these characters, as they find themselves, and eventually a road back to who they used to be, and who they will be again.
