Summary
Shanks and Marco are the ones that survive the last stand against the Marines and Teach. Luffy, Nika, sends them back so there is a chance for a second chance. After sharing what he left, Marco goes to look for Shanks and the both of them set course to Dawn and get there just in time to deal with Bluejam/Outlook. MarShanks adopting (kidnapping) the ASL bros and raising them. Making sure that they survive and come out as the monsters they were meant to be. Includes Ace getting all the hugs, Sabo learning how to be a gremlin from Shanks and Buggy. Lastly, Luffy conquering hearts and making allies to keep for when he sets out (no one knows how a rookie knows half the shichibukai or Yonko crews) Sengoku is pulling out his hair when he figures it out and doesn't know how to handle this (no matter what the elders tell him he doesn't want Newgate, Shanks, Mihawk, Katakuri and several others on his ass thanks).

Summary
Everything felt heavy, he was exhausted, for the first time in a long time he actually hurt. Pops had talked about seastone before, how it took away a person's power like the sea itself did. He had never felt it, but he’d fallen into the ocean once or twice, he had always been brought up pretty quickly though, never enough to fully feel the effects of losing his ability. Now though, it had been five hours without the phoenix, and he was learning what pain was again.
His back had a slash through it, still lazily oozing blood and he was sure his body looked more purple and blue than it did its usual tan. He really did want to cry.
Maybe if he had been alone he would have. He would have let himself wail and cry for his Pops to come get him. But he wasn’t alone. Tucked beneath his arms, nestled between his shackled hands, two shaking forms clung on to him. He was not a baby, he was a pirate, he would not cry. He needed to protect them.

.Marco, Shanks and Buggy get themselves kidnapped. Marco is a big kid now though, he's determined to protect his friends.
