Summary
A young modern maybe-witch really wants to find her father, but should have maybe read the fineprint of the spell she used.
Thorin gets thrown into the modern world, specifically into the apartment of his daughter (omg he has a daughter!!!), and finds out affairs with witches have consequences.
His daughter, Théa Emery, shows him her world, and decides that she's gonna come with him when he returns to Middle Earth.
Because she has read Tolkien and hell, she will NOT let her father die now that she found him!
Upon Thorin's return, he has to find a way to use what he has found in that other world to build a better life for his people, and his daughter has to find a place in this new world and new family, and figure out how to fix things without making it worse.
