Thrown in a world that demands her death as a sacrifice, our protagonist tries to navigate daily life, as she narrowly avoids speaking about her feelings out loud, fights everything that moves she's ALSO not thinking about the fact that by all means, she is a fictional character in a fictional world, who's character trope is essentially "dead mom", nope , nu-uh, she's not thinking about that at all, no way.
OR;
Someone from our world is reborn in the One Piece world as Portgas D. Rouge and given she does NOT want to die she decides she is willing to fuck One Piece canon without caring what may happen to anyone. (Except,... she does care doesn't she?)

The thought leaves him with a hiss, not through mouth but through skin, the high-pitched screech of boiling water meeting flesh, followed by his own wail as his arm erupts in pain.

“Well,” Olruggio paused as he ate some of the food, thinking it over. Qifrey might be able to help a little, he might have seen more of Custas than Olruggio had for a start. “Coco asked me to find out how to remove a silverwood seed from someone.”
A thud startled him, and he looked over to see Qifrey had dropped the book and was staring at him with wide, almost horrified eyes.
When Coco comes to him with an unusual request, Olruggio is more than willing to help out. But the more he researches and experiments, the more he can't help but notice about his best friend. When it comes down to it, is there any way to save a Silverwood host?

Olruggio rubbed his eyes, just to make sure that he still wasn't hallucinating. And then pinched himself to make sure that he wasn't dreaming. Hurt like hell, so not a chance he was.

Aka, someone behind the System wants to help, and chooses to do so via shoving specific people's future selves back into their own old bodies in the past, and selectively allowing some other people to see them interact in the System's chat room. Naturally, some major derailing, a lot of heart attacks for some, and overall just a lot in general, occurs.
The rest of the world, not privy in the chat, watches on with mostly pure confusion.
