   A year after the Battle of Piltover, forces political and mystical again threaten Runeterra. Ancient powers stir as magic seeps back into the land.

   Situations from Zaun to Demacia, set into motion centuries ago, threaten to bubble over into chaos.

   But the powers-that-be have once again forgotten to keep an eye on the most insignificant pawns on the board.
