Summary
Hans sighs, beleaguered. “Alright, fine, I’ll explain further. Now, we are made in the image of God, are we not?”
“Yes, sir.”
“And as such, we embody all aspects of the divine. But because we are mortal and flawed, we do not embody them all, and imperfectly at that. When Adam and Eve ate of the apple, they introduced sin, and that sin was made manifest in their son, Cain, the first alpha.
“With Cain, wrath and rage entered the world. Eventually, God looked down and saw that it had brought ruin to his creation and he was forced to wash the world clean. They did teach you about the Flood, I hope.”
Henry couldn’t look at him. “Yes, my lord.”
“After the Flood, in His regret, God sent a gift to mankind: omegas, who embody His grace and strength. We are to tame the wrath and rage of alphas, and to stand against them to protect the innocent should that fail. And, of course, to help repopulate the world,” he adds cheekily, then laughs a little.

Rocky has called Grace stupid hundreds of times, but now that they're no longer in crisis mode, Rocky's beginning to suspect that stupid isn't the right word.
Or: words have connotations, and Grace needs to be a teacher outside of his usual subject.
