Summary
After a festive night with their friends and families, the youngest members of the Sonic cast suddenly wake up the next day to find themselves alone, far from home, in a deserted island they don’t recognize or even have the slightest clue as to how they got there.
The only thing they have is their wits, knowledge of what they were taught, the clothes on their backs, semi-survival skills that could help them survive until next week and the company of one another.
Only time will tell when this mystery can be fully solved, but which outcome will come first, solving this seemingly impossible puzzle or losing their hope that they can ever be rescued?

Summary
Walking through the massive hallways of the base never seemed to scare Maria like it would for any other kid. She had seen her fair share of seeing secret government bases due to her grandfather's work that was wanted to be reviewed by everyone in the country. Some were smaller while others just seemed to be regular looking to where you didn't think that it was supposed to be a normal building.
Even when walking through them after lights out and nothing but the slim, linear lights that only dimly lit the floor wasn't enough to frighten her.
But this current walk she was taking to the dorm where she lived with her grandfather, had her pretty worried, scared even. She couldn't even hear the familiar noise of the pipes groaning or the fluorescent lights flickering from years of use. All that was going through her head was that last moment with him.
With “him” being Shadow.
She could still remember the moment so clearly, as much as she didn't want to.
Or
Maria and Shadow have one of their first arguments and they are both hurting from it.
