Stephanie Brown is 18, the third robin, and is about to start collage soon. But tragedy strikes when Batman dies. Stephanie steps up as the new Batman and has to face with everyone in her family tell her she's not up to the task. This fic was largely inspired by Batgirl (2009) and the Arkham Games.

Summary
Her costume was the wrong shade. The red was too bright, which was truly saying something. The fabric looked like it could’ve been cut from old t-shirts. It wouldn’t hold up in a catfight. She didn’t even have any gloves. But she had stood there like she had stood there a hundred times before. She had looked him right in the eyes, something many of the GCPD still avoided at all costs.
And she saw the fourth man. The man that he missed.

Summary
Gwen Tennyson, a 10-year-old girl not at all enthused for her cross-country summer vacation with her cousin, Ben, and her grandfather, Max. Gwen finds a crashed pod at their first stop. Within it is a watch-like alien artifact called the Omnitrix. When she reaches to touch it, the watch latches onto her wrist and refuses to come off, unwillingly merging with her DNA. Gwen accidentally discovers that the watch can change her form into various alien creatures and quickly learns how to use it. Deciding that she could be a superhero who can help people, Gwen uses the watch to destroy robots sent by Vilgax to retrieve it, thus beginning a summer of adventure for herself, Max, and Ben.

“Surprise.” Tim muttered under his breath, sarcastically.
“Daddy issues, which I’ve been told are pretty common.”
Tim nodded.
“A full-on identity crisis.” He continued, nearing the end of the tirade. Tim hummed. Kon looked at Dick, found strength in the nod of his head. He breathed in deeply. “And Dick and I realized just twenty minutes ago that I was groomed and raped when I was sixteen.”

Kon has some issues he wasn’t aware of, and it’s through conversations with Hal Jordan, Jason Todd and Dick Grayson that he realizes and tells Clark.

Summary
Anakin can't control the Force very well at all. The Jedi seem to think everything he does with it is wrong, even just existing, really. Everyone complains that he's loud in the Force, that is, until he's put under Force suppression. It makes him ill, but it doesn't completely remove his ability to use the Force, and it gets him praise for better control. But when it wears off, he's once again scolded for lacking it.
So a 12 year old Anakin who can't seem to make any friends, in part due to Yoda's well meaning meddling that would have been fine if he was creche raised, modifies a pair of Force suppressant binders and wears them constantly from that point forward.
Obi-Wan is praised for teaching him so well.
