Laudna smiled softly and tucked a strand of hair behind Imogen's ear.
"Even if I do, it'll be worth it, because I'll have gotten to spend more time with you."
(Or, imogen gets sick, laudna insists on taking care of her, and ends up getting sick, which imogen has no idea how to deal with)

Summary
Imogen and Laudna walk together in the forest nearby their cottage. In the crook of Laudna’s elbow, she carries an empty wicker basket for the things they find along their walk. Imogen’s wanted to make a stew of some sort, and she says that she can’t possibly make it if she doesn’t have any mushrooms to go into it, so that’s what Laudna is looking for. Laudna’s eyes are wide open, blinking owlishly as she scans the forest floor for edible ones. The crisp, early-autumn breeze pulls at her shawl, and she recoils as it blows up into her face.
Once Laudna’s gotten her shawl under control, she hears giggling at her side.

Laudna has a lot of fun with Imogen in the forest, mostly with her mouth.

Mira crosses her arms, expression settling into something carefully guarded that makes Rumi’s chest ache. “You want us to go on patrol with you? How would we even do that?”
“I was thinking you could ride me.”
Mira’s eyebrows shoot up and Zoey turns to look at her so quickly Rumi can hear the crack of cartilage. Rumi blinks, confused by their reactions. Over Zoey’s shoulder, Rumi can just barely see Jinu smack a hand to his forehead. Something clicks in her mind and heat rushes to her cheeks.
“I mean, you could ride on my back,” Rumi hurries to say. “My back is pretty big when I’m a wolf. I can, uh, carry both of you.”
Two months since learning the truth, Zoey and Mira have given up their Hunter ways to live with Rumi and the Saja pack. It's almost perfect.
They've finally found one another again, but there was still more to go before the three of them can be like they had once been. Hatred like theirs doesn’t go away with a kiss. It lingers in the back of hearts and minds to stain every thought and action like ink, but Mira and Zoey were trying. Rumi is determined to help them every step of the way.
