Yuuta gives him a quick grin back before leaving the room. The moment he’s gone Ema and Airi giggle to themselves, making Toge give them a look.
“What’s so funny?”
“Sensei,” Ema begins, eyes bright, “It’s so obvious that Okkotsu-sensei is deeply in love with you.”

Every step burned. Nirei’s grip on the faulty railing of the apartment complex was clammy as he dragged his aching body up each step at excruciating speed.
Every breath hurt. When he inhaled, it was a sharp rasp. When he exhaled, his chest tightened painfully. His lungs didn’t even feel like they were filling; Nirei was convinced he wasn’t actually getting any air.
He needed to do this though. He needed to get to his destination.

Summary
Nirei is currently wedged between the wall of an alleyway and a very ferocious boy who's hand is wound tightly around the collar of his shirt. The only thing that separates this from just a couple years ago is that he's being kissed within an inch of his life, and that he's having a pretty good time.
(Nirei doesn't know exactly why Sakura let him keep this up, after the first time. He just doesn't want it to stop for anything.)
Or: Nirei and Sakura have an arrangement around kissing that eventually leads to less than desirable results.

Akihiko wheezes as he quickly detaches his hand from Suo's as if it burned him. In the process, he hits his knuckles on the table, the pain sharp and sobering.
"Th-that's not -", Akihiko scrambles to put words into a logical order. He doesn't dare to look at Suo, sure his stupid feelings are smeared all over his face like bad graffiti. "We aren't -"
"Aw, thank you, Nirei-san", Suo speaks up. The fucking traitor.
Five times Nirei doesn't realize that Suo likes him, and the one time he finally does.
