Summary
Tonight is the long-awaited night where Mondstadt finally welcome back the expedition team that managed to bring along new glory and honor to the Favonius name. Honorary Knight also happened to arrive along with the Grandmaster, then she volunteered to be their exclusive mixologist for the night.
Miles have been harboring a pretty hard crush on her ever since she selflessly saved Mondstadt from one of their biggest crises. From that day on, Miles' feelings towards her only grew stronger every time he saw her visiting the city. Now that she's back, he wants to take this chance to confess his feelings to her. He doesn't expect any acceptance from her—letting her know of his feelings is more than enough—but there's nothing wrong from hoping a little, right?
Oh yeah, the Grandmaster also got closer with the Traveler. He heard that he's been helping Godwin with his love troubles. Surely, he won't mind helping Miles with this one, right?

Set in the 2026 lantern rite, after completing the Lunar IV Archon Quest, Lumine decides to return to liyue for Lantern Rite. Exhausted from such events, Xiao helps her regain energy by taking care of her – allowing her to stay in his room with him while she rests. They spend various quiet days together, including the night of Lantern Rite, where they watch the lanterns glow from Wangshu Inn's balcony. Full of mutual pining and gentle words, this fic is like a warm hug :)
