Summary
The thrill of it, the sheer power Scar held over him, made the moment even more intoxicating.
Grian’s mind was spinning, his body on fire, caught somewhere between wanting to escape the suffocating grip and craving more of it. The tension in his body only built as Scar’s hand remained firm, holding him right on the edge of both breathlessness and release, as if savouring the way Grian’s body begged without words.

Summary
Scar can’t help his weak chuckle, eyes falling from Grian’s face. His shoulders sag, “Should’ve known I wouldn’t be able to hide it from you for long.”
Worry grows in his chest as he watches Scar. “Hide what from me..?” Grian slowly asks, concerned. Has Scar been keeping something from him? The thought almost hurts to consider, with how close the two of them are. With how much Grian has shared with him.
Opening his mouth to answer, Scar hesitates, unable to push the words out. He looks at Grian, nervous, “Just… promise before you kick me out or hate me, you’ll listen to my reasoning?”
Grian makes a face at the very idea of kicking Scar out, as well as the possibility of hating him. Grian doesn’t think there’s any part of him that could ever hate Scar. But still, he looks at Scar and nods, “I promise.”
scar is an incubus working as a lab assistant to grian, who happens to be researching the paranormal. grian, his boss, has no idea of scar's demonic origins because scar hasn't told him. oh, and scar's also in love with him.

Summary
“Grian?” Scar asked, ignoring the shake in his voice.
“Yeah Scar?” Grian looked eager. Open. Gods, Scar missed that look.
“Can you cut my hair? Right now?” You could hear a pin drop in the room. Grian looked like he wanted to say something, but closed his mouth and nodded instead.

Scar returns to Hermitcraft as the only one to fully remember the experience of Third Life and Last Life with no magic able to sooth the rough edges of it. Even Grian, tied close to the gamemakers, remembered it like an echo of someone that wasn't him playing the game, and helped wipe most of the event from the others' mind upon request. Too bad Scar was a very special boy who's magic refused to let that settle in. He's perfectly okay though! No side effects from that whatsoever. The panic and fear were temporary, so there was no need to let anyone know about that slight issue. Now if he could only give himself a haircut so no one could have a handhold on him, that would be nice.

Summary
"Grian’s laughter had petered out, though he was still smiling. Rays of sunlight caught stray strands of his damp hair, creating a golden halo around the crown of his head. He looked so different from the creature of the depths he had been only a few moments ago, instead radiating an effortless ethereal allure.
In this moment, Scar saw him as he was - both beauty and beast."
Or,
Scar is a businessman, first and foremost. He's an expert in the games he has to play to maintain his power and wealth, and isn't afraid to use methods that most would abhor. However, things begin to change when he's approached with an unusual offer. He's gifted the skin of a selkie to study, opening an entire array of potential scientific advancements. It's the kind of opportunity any good businessman would dream of. There's just one problem - what to do with the captive selkie that comes with it?
