Summary
Curly couldn’t help his nature, prone to try and be more in tune with everyone else in his life rather than himself. Jimmy on the other hand was the complete opposite, or at least desperately wished he wasn’t aware of the space he created between himself and everyone with his own nature. Push and pull, everything ends up the same in the end no matter what they try.
(My take on what could have happened before the Tulpar, their messed up relationship from teens to adulthood.)
