Summary
AU where Aurra Sing decides to jettison three clone cadets into space after making a hyperspace jump. Lost beyond where their allies can find them, Jax, Whiplash, and Hotshot have minimal life support and no way to call for help.
At the same time, and in another part of the galaxy, six Jedi younglings jump to lightspeed to fend off a pirate attack by Hondo Ohnaka. But in the act, their chaperone, Ahsoka Tano, is captured. Abandoned by their rescue party, their ship damaged, the younglings are stranded without a plan.
These two groups could have died in the vacuum of space. But the Force works in mysterious ways, and fate brings them together. Now they must overcome their differences and disagreements and find a way home...together.
Alternate universe with the timeline switched up a bit. Canon-compliant characterizations. Contains spoilers and quotes from TCW S2 E20: “Death Trap” and S5 E6-8: “The Gathering,” “A Test of Strength,” and “Bound for Rescue” respectively.

AU of movieverse. It is many years since tragedy struck the line of Durin when the youngest heir was lost to a pack of orcs. Now Bilbo Baggins, having agreed only to stealing treasure from a dragon, finds himself instead tangled up in a web of tragedy and revenge. Perhaps it's foolhardy of him to get involved at all, but really, someone has to try and keep these dwarves out of trouble. As for the rest, well, what is lost does not always stay lost forever.
