Komari's weakness was always her devotion.
Komari's strength was, too.

Bookmarker's Notes
He had lost Komari fifteen years ago, when she had arrived in his quarters with an eight year old initiate with wide, guileless eyes. It had been a gradual loss. That his new Master sought to make it permanent… Yan had made his choice.
But perhaps…

"I won't," Bail said. "I won't forget you."
"Others have said the same," Obi-Wan replied. "It's okay. I don't mind. Some things aren't meant to be."
In response, Bail pulled Obi-Wan into a crushing hug. He closed his eyes, forcing himself to memorize the feeling of a friend in his arms, a man who had died before his time. A friend in another life, in any life.
Hesitantly, Obi-Wan wrapped his arms around Bail's back and squeezed. "Thank you for spending today with me, Bail. I'm sorry it had to end this way. Goodbye."
With great regret, Bail left the Jedi Temple, and just as Obi-Wan had said, the moment he crossed the threshold he could already feel the boy's--the man's--face slipping from his memory.
"Obi-Wan," he murmured under his breath. "Obi-Wan Kenobi."
He repeated the name over and over to himself on his way to the visitor's speeder bay, and by the time he got there, he didn't even know why he was doing it, except that it was important to him somehow.
He didn't know who or what Obi-Wan Kenobi was, but he wouldn't forget it.

"--and you thought cooking me breakfast was the best way to reintroduce yourself?" Obi-Wan says, his voice steadily increasing in volume.
"In my defense, I said hello to you last night when you returned, you just didn't seem to register it," Ben says, his hands tucked primly in his transparent blue sleeves. His voice, not filtered through Obi-Wan's voicebox or thoughts, is lighter than Obi-Wan is used to. A little creaky and quiet, but measured and sure. "I figured since you were returning from such a clearly arduous mission, you could do with a home-cooked meal. I didn't realize my flatcakes were so mortifying."
"The problem isn't the flatcakes, Ben, those were very good--"

Summary
The galaxy is a step away from war when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala find a clone army.
That's where it starts, with convenient wording in a contract, a broken sith spell, and a desperate attempt to turn their tragedies into a story that could catch the hearts of a galaxy.
-_-
“Now sit still,” he told them all as he leaned forward. “And I’ll tell you the story of the Soldier, the Queen, and the Hunter.”

Jango stared at his wedding gifts. An R2 unit with more personality than could fit in it’s small frame and an actual rock that had been a coming-of-age gift and had apparently saved Obi-Wan from being mind-wiped. Which was an awful lot to expect from a rock, but Jango decided to accept it and not ask questions.

Summary
This is the one where Obi-Wan is picked up by the Ohnaka Gang at Bandomeer and thinks, 'pirate or farmer, pirate or farmer, pirate or farmer... PIRATE!'
And Obi-Wan still saves the galaxy. But naturally, Pirate King Hondo Ohnaka takes the credit.

What is absolutely dead obvious to Obi-Wan Kenobi, sometimes known as Ben Ohnaka, is not necessarily obvious to Jango Fett. Then again, tactics are Jango’s strength, not strategy, whereas if you pick any universe at all, Obi-Wan Kenobi tends to leave the details of tactics to the Force, whereas strategy is where the High General will always shine.
