Summary
After becoming the sole survivor of a botched naval assault mission, Saoirse and a ragtag crew of outcasts clash with the Vittoria Oro's seemingly unstoppable forces as she searches for the remnants of a rekindled resistance behind enemy lines. Together, only they can save Spiralus and put an end to Cain's conquest.

This fic has pretty significant canon-divergence and I've taken the plot in a different direction, but I wrote the parallels to be pretty obvious. Also lots of name/place changes.

Summary
Hiccup and the Dragon Riders set out on a mission to face Viggo and his men on the island of the Snow Wraith. Things quickly take a turn for the worst when Hiccup is captured from his friends, and find that Viggo is more prepared than ever. Hiccup needs to escape the claws of Viggo before he does something... permanent. But when Hiccup loses his most powerful weapon, he needs to rely on his friends to get him out of there on time.
