Summary
They sat with their chins on their knees, just far enough apart to not seem desperate. Commuters pulsed past: a man in a suit yapping into his earpiece, the hunched old lady with her plaid trolley, two kids in headscarves walking arm in arm, hands full of croissants. The storm drain gurgled underfoot; Rumi imagined her phone still glowing with her errant emails, maybe a few missed calls and angry voicemails.
Suddenly a voice popped up behind them, “Hey...do you two need help?”
They both looked back at the same time and standing there was a rabbit, her head tilted to the side and her ear tall on her head. She stared at them with thinly hidden concern and obvious confusion.
“We uh…dropped our things into the rain drain and can’t reach through the bars to get them,” Mira said, ears flicking back in slight embarrassment at the whole situation.

Rumi gives them a shrug and says, “It would be nice to go back. I mean—I don’t remember much, but I was there with family, and it was…” Her hesitation makes both of her girls look over, concerned and ready to listen. Their looks make her feel like an anchor being pulled back to a ship.
“Being there made me happy,” Rumi finishes.
And it would be so nice to have it again with the family who make her just as happy.

Summary
When a family vacation doesn't go the way Zoey hopes she decides to set off to make an adventure of her own... only to get lost in the dark depths of a lava tube. Lucky for her a very knowledgeable girl with a purple braid finds her and leads the way out. Before she can ask her new friend's name she's swept up by her worried parents to return to their camp.
Years later, Zoey has finally returned for what she hopes will turn out to be a better vacation to Jeju. It definitely will be! She's got her college friend Mira for company and plans to climb and hike around the beautiful scenery on the south end of the island... While maybe also asking around a little for the park ranger who had a daughter around her age with purple hair.
With rumors of flash fires and sightings of 'spirits' the only real gossip floating around, there's sure to be far more to explore on this summer trip than either her or Mira could ever have anticipated.

Summary
After losing her soulmates, Celine is not doing great. During a hunt, Celine comes in contact with a very young water demon with dark purple hair and can't find it within her to kill the demon. Rather than flee back to the demon realm, the young demon shocks Celine by following her back to her home. Even more shocking, the honmoon seems to have picked her as a future hunter.
And, as Celine will learn in the years to come, two other demons.
