Summary
Danny Fenton's parents nuked his powers when he was 18. He left town for college and AFROTC chasing NASA dreams, meaning to never come back. 16 years, 12 years in the service and two combat tours later, he's facing his past.
USAF Major Danny Fenton comes home on leave to Amity Park to meet his new nephew and see old friends. And maybe mend the bridge with his parents or burn it down.
One night on a run, "muggers" inject him with ectoplasm restoring his powers. And followed by a scale 8 ghost attack. Danny knows someone is behind this, knows he's being manipulated. But Amity Park and ghosts are still his responsibility. Doesn't mean he has to like "going ghost" again.

Summary
Danny thinks he grieved his old life before becoming half-ghost, but only the concept of being normal. He never grieved like a part of him had been lost. It was more accurate to say that he found something he initially didn’t want, but realized was a part of him the whole time.
“We’re doing the right thing. That’s what matters in the end,” Sam reassured.

Summary
When Danny’s exhaled breaths turned a misty blue, his eyes lit up when he caught sight of a familiar figure not too far ahead with a shorter gentleman next to him. Jason better work with him or else Danny would torment for the rest of their infinite afterlives.
Mustering up the loudest shout he could, he yelled out, “Dad!”
Jason’s head jerked to face him, startled while the GIW agents swore behind him.
“I got stung by a bee!” Danny yelled, grinning inside at the nasty looks sent his way by the other pedestrians. “Dad! Look!”
He grabbed onto Jason’s arm in the same manner he had the last time they had met. He pressed more of his weight into the man, muttering quietly, “I give it about thirty seconds before I’m quite literally dead weight. Get me out of here.”
Jason steadied him when he stumbled forward, legs finally losing feeling.
“Here, evidence or whatever,” Danny choked out, shoving the tranquilizer dart into Jason’s hand before his vision swam and black crowded the edges of his vision.
*Danny finally manages to escape the GIW and keeps running into Jason. Might as well let the other halfa help him out. Good thing he looks young enough to pass as the man's kid.*
