For many reasons, over many situations, over many shifts Robert has had his head on his desk listening to the worst news unfold around him. Despite this: he’s stuck around. Turns out, becoming and staying a Dispatcher had been the right call. Even after the Shroud Red Ring chaos, even with the Astral Pulse, even with the rebranded suit, Robert doesn’t want to sit in the cockpit anymore. Choosing to sit at a desk instead. Summary
At first, all Jayce can make out is silver, where there should be navy blue. The stranger wears a suit made entirely of metal, deeply imposing, even with the bars between them. There’s a noise from behind them, a whirring sound, and Jayce watches as a claw extends from their back, spinning menacingly. Their face is hidden behind a mask of metal, giving nothing away; all Jayce can see are piercing, glowing yellow eyes, trained solely on him.
“Mr. Talis,” a deep, robotic voice drones, echoing off the prison walls. “You are going to be coming with me.”

After his experimentation leads to the death of a teenager, Jayce is imprisoned in Stillwater Hold. Seven years later, his sentence ends early.
