So when a new arrival slammed the doors open and Annabeth Chase gasped in delight, all Poseidon could do was lean back in his seat with a wide grin on his face.

    “Oh, for fuck’s sake,” Percy said, obviously exhausted.

    Poseidon felt a bit faint, and he vaguely recognized the demigods sharing popcorn at their feet.

    Or: The Second Generation are chaotic bastards. Except for Ares and Hephaestus. They're just chaotic. The Second Generation are also very good at enabling each other's first impulses. The constant running commentary and chaotic whims of the peanut gallery will surely have no effect on sweet young Percy Jackson. No effect. None whatsoever.
    Also, Mars and Mercury are here. Who invited them? Seriously though, who invited them, I have no idea how they happened.
