Summary
When the Utrom freeze the Shredder’s exploding ship in a stasis bubble at the last moment during the Exodus Part 2 episode, they save the passengers within. Michelangelo, however, has already been grievously wounded in the chaos of the explosion, and his healing will take time and patience. What will be lost in the meantime?
✨✨✨✨✨
“Yeah? How much time?” Mikey didn’t mean to sound so plaintive. He just wanted to go home. He wanted to nuzzle Klunk; he wanted to go skateboarding in the sewers. He wanted things to be normal again. “We talking egg-timer time or waiting-for-Santa-in-July time?”
“We don’t know, Michelangelo,” Splinter told him. “But you are strong. You are resilient. We will all exercise patience.”

With the life of an abducted child at stake, Nightwatcher must rely on his brothers, even if they aren’t actually there.
(This fic won 3rd place for "Best of 2007" in the TMNT Readers Choice Awards!)
***********************
Seconds stretched into long, chilly minutes, then into a numbing hour. And still, no suspect. No kid.It was like he’d just vanished.
Raph shifted uncomfortably in the Nightwatcher suit. He’d been still for too long, watching, waiting. He wasn’t in a great mood to begin with. They were coming up on the second Christmas without Leo.

After the Ninja Tribunal and the battle with Tengu Shredder, Raphael is stuck in the form of a dragon.
******************************
Raphael’s hoarse wail, that terrible cry of pain, sent Splinter stumbling forward into the circle of blazing light. Yet before he could touch his son, before he could reach out for his still-floating body, the ear-splitting pitch of Raphael’s mystic power raised and intensified. A blinding flash, and suddenly, it was not Raphael’s familiar form that Splinter was reaching out to.The dragon was back.

Summary
Mikey and Donnie play ‘monster’. This is an extension of an opening scene from the episode immediately following "Good Genes".
********************************
“Rooooaaar!” Donnie’s fake-monster bellow echoed from the nearby buildings, layered with his brother’s laughter as Mikey slid under Don’s outstretched arms and vaulted away.“Mikey could’ve lost his leg. Donnie could’ve lost his life!” Leo felt sick. “I thought getting us back out here would help us get away from thinking about it for a minute. Move forward. Move past it. I didn’t expect…” Leo’s mouth thinned into a hard line. He rubbed a palm anxiously across his scalp. “I didn’t expect them to bring it with us like this.”

An unexpected opportunity comes along for our SAINW-boys, but the price may be too high
**********************
Something in the stalled breaths, in the cold silence of the moment, must’ve caught at Renet’s attention, pulling at it like a stray wire pulls at the loose, looping yarn of a sweater—the tiny beginning to a rapid unraveling. Renet’s brow furrowed questioningly.
“Where should Donnie be, Renet?” Raph probably thought his tone was calm, but it came off as menacing.

Summary
“I want Santa to cheer dad up. You know that he’s been really sad again lately, he’s been in his room for almost four days, so I thought about what things cheer him up the most. That’s when I remembered that dad is always happy at Christmas. I thought if Christmas came early this year, it might cheer him up. I know Santa will understand when I explain why I had to trick him.”
Well dang. There was absolutely nothing funny about this.
Or...
Mikey is trying to get Santa to come; the problem is... it's five months early...

Summary
"Good job," Dad said as a greeting, not even waiting for anyone to get out of the car. "Only half an hour late. New record."
Papa looked like he wanted to start the engine, back up, run over his ex-husband, and finally, as if nothing ever happened, ask his sons if they wanted something from the McDrive. Instead, he unbuckled his seat belt and got out (probably so as not to tempt fate), standing in the still-open door (probably in case he decided to chase his dreams after all, even at the cost of prison).
"Purple didn't want to wear his shoes," he explained, looking at the other man over the roof of his car.
Or,
When Splinter and Draxum started dating, their friends gave them two years max. So they got married out of spite and adopted four little boys just to prove what a wonderful family they can create.
Their marriage died three years later and now they have to spend Sunday evenings in the parking lot watching their children hop from one car to the other.
Life could be worse.

Summary
The turtles victory over Shredder was glorious. Everything that came after was much less so.
And Donatello quickly finds that dealing with the loss of their home isn't the only problem on hand. His mystic powers, which he fully developed in less than an hour for a big fight, are starting to go haywire. He's not only discovering abilities he never knew he had, but all of them are acting in a way he hasn't learned to control.
He needs to get a lid on them before they get worse.

Bookmarker's Notes
Rise-Donnie accidentally temporarily replaces himself with an AI version when learning to control his ninpo. Frightening and utterly captivating story that dives into that edge-of-danger, out-of-control feeling that I love in Donnie-centric stories. Reminds me a bit of Whisper_Norbury's "All the Time in the World" in that sense.
