Summary
This was Galinda’s charm, Elphaba knew it, she sometimes felt jealous about all the people her girlfriend had eating out of the palm of her hand; the truth was, she had no choice but to understand them, Galinda made you feel seen, even right now she was understanding things Elphaba couldn't even explain.
or
Elphaba has one of those days where the entire world seems to conspire against her: a devastating loss in court, a spiteful downpour, ruined paperwork, and a broken shoe. She returns home soaked to the bone and hollowed out by failure, braced for the painful disconnect between her grey misery and Glinda's bright world.
But the Glinda who meets her at the door is not the glittering socialite. She is a sanctuary. Without a word, she understands and the only question asked is a silent one, with her arms open.
This is a story about what happens after "I'm sorry"—the quiet, determined work of building a love that can withstand the worst days. It's about the profound language of acts of service, a warm towel, a steady shoulder, and the courage it takes to let yourself be loved, even when you feel you don't deserve it.

Summary
“You’re being incredibly annoying.” She waited for the explosion. She waited for the “How dare you!” or the “You ungrateful witch!” with thrill. She waited for the familiar catharsis of a screaming match, where wounds were clean and visible and could be stitched up, messily, afterwards.
The explosion never came.
Instead, a terrible, silent collapse occurred. The light in Galinda’s wide brown eyes didn't flash with anger; it guttered, and died. The hand that had been reaching for Elphaba’s slowly retracted “Watch what you say to me, Elphaba.”or
After a brutal fight shatters their relationship, Elphaba is left in the ruins of their apartment, consumed by the guilt of her own cruel words. Galinda is simply gone, a ghost of her vibrant self. This is the story of what comes after the breaking point—the long, painful, and tender journey of two people learning how to love each other better. It's a testament to the hard work of rebuilding: of navigating jealousy, weathering bad days, and learning to offer not just apologies, but understanding. Can they move from being forces that collide to partners who build a sanctuary, together?

after laughter comes tears by TalkingRed

Summary
A wave of relief had washed over Elphaba. For the first time, the laughter echoing through the hall wasn't about her verdigris skin; today, as weird as it seemed, Galinda Upland was the one being laughed at by everyone. It was, objectively, a comical situation, and the collective jeering from students and teachers alike should have been a sweet, petty victory.
Yet, when her eyes found Galinda in the crowd—witnessing the furious struggle to contain her tears, the quivering lip, the desperate battle for composure—the triumph turned to ash in her mouth. Looking at that raw, humiliated pain, a feeling Elphaba knew all too well, she found she had no laughter left in her.
