    Summary

All is not well in Whickber Street...

It's the morning after the demon attack, and everything is about to crumble.
Aziraphale has a daunting job offer.
Crowley has a confession to make.
Who even knows what the Metatron is up to?
But it seems that he's determined to split them up one way or another, and he does that spectacularly well.

Unless the boys can work out what's going on and why, the world will go up in a ball of flame pretty soon now.
But how can they possibly do that apart?

Left behind on Earth, Crowley is faced with trying to sort it all out on his own, and he doesn't know where to start.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale's stuck in Heaven, but he's struggling to make sense of anything.
Why are there such significant gaps in his memory, particularly around the Great War?

And when he finds the memories that were lost to him--how can he ever face Crowley again?

    = = =
The Ineffable Idiots would like to invite you to join them for some trauma, a little light self-knowledge, and the unravelling of something that’s made no sense at all for roughly six thousand years…

    Summary

It's 1827, coming up to a month since Aziraphale got back from Edinburgh without Crowley, and the demon's still not back yet.

Aziraphale is starting to worry, but for all that Hell won't like the fact that Crowley saved Elspeth from damnation, she's only one poor girl.
They can't be *that* angry about it surely?

No, Crowley ought to be back any day.
... but all the same, as Aziraphale's journal entries show, he's starting to feel a little uneasy.

    Summary

    Crowley is in desperate straits.
He needs £50k, and fast, or loanshark Carmine Zuguiber will have his kneecaps.
There's no way in Hell he's going to be able to get that money together in two days flat.
No-one he knows would even have access to that much money, never mind lend it to him...

...well, no-one except Mr Fell would have it.
Just Crowley's luck that his only way out of this fix is by kidnapping the man he's had a major crush on for months.

But a man with two bodyguards must have *something* worth protecting, right??
And Crowley is all out of choices.

    Summary

    One-Sentence Summary:

Aziraphale and Crowley ride in a sleigh and make out.

    Or:

Imagine a white plain, stretching farther than the eye can see in all directions. White snow is glistening, studded with myriads of tiny diamonds. The sun is at its zenith, but it’s the middle of winter, so it’s at a low angle all the same.

Talking about angels: Aziraphale is in the midst of this crisp, frosty beauty, driving an open horse sleigh, burrowed deep in warm blankets and furs, shielded from the cold. The sun is warm on his face, and the wind brushing his skin is just the right side of brisk—due to a minor miracle. He is travelling home from an assignment well accomplished. He is giddy with the beauty of the Earth in her bridal dress, giddy with the speed of his sleigh, giddy with being alive!

Of course, something *unexpected* happens, and then two are riding in that sleigh, Crowley and Aziraphale … under cover(s).

Things heat up under the blankets, as Aziraphale gives in to temptation, or seizes the opportunity— craving a tiny speck of warmth in this vast desert of frost, who can blame him? Carpe diem and such, as Crowley would put it so eloquently.
