Summary
“There’s a body in the garden.”
The words were spoken calmly, while Bucky kept his eyes locked onto the gangly form prostrate in the dirt outside. When he’d spotted it in a casual pass of the window, he’d experienced shock for all of half a second before he’d quickly transitioned into acceptance and wariness.
He stepped back from the window as Steve rushed up, a damp blue dish towel in his hands. Steve’s eyes immediately narrowed in on the form that was face down by the tomato plants. It was a good sign that Bucky wasn’t hallucinating, and a bad sign in that it meant the corpse in the garden was real.
Steve gave Bucky a look, the corners of his mouth sternly downturned.
“I didn’t put it there,” Bucky said, just in case that was in question.

A mostly-dead Loki shows up face-planted in Bucky’s garden one day while Steve’s over for lunch. (Throws Infinity War/Endgame deaths and other parts of canon out the window.)

Summary
“Valkyrie, I thought that…” Thor met them with a smile, lighting up the space between them with his seemingly endless optimism. His hair had grown out long again, opposing the Thor that he had seen on the film reel of Thanos’ ship. This Thor had both of his eyes, albeit one of them being fake. This Thor looked happy. Yet at the sight of Loki, his smile faltered, the light flickering out. He took a tiny step back, his face aghast.
“Loki?” He whispered, as if he were afraid of the word. Of his name.
He couldn’t help the water that began to well up in his eyes. He stepped forward.
“The sun has finally risen, brother.”

When Loki finally receives the chance to make visits on the timelines, he chooses to go to New Asgard, where he no longer feels at home. But this is his chance for the sun to shine on him and his brother. And, just maybe, it will shine for him and Mobius too.

He’s watched Loki do everything, over and over and over, and now—
Now, he’s doing it all with them.
So, Loki, he’s used to.

“Hey,” Mobius says.
Loki’s eyes meet his own, a bright twinkle sparkling inside each of them. “Hello, there.”
“You mean it.” Mobius scans his face, finds nothing but sincerity— and, if anybody would know a lie on Loki’s face, it’s him. “Like, all of it. You mean all of it.”
“I do,” Loki replies. His grin blossoms. “Would I lie?”
“In a heartbeat,” Mobius answers, earning a laugh from Loki. Lucky. “Not about this, though. I think.” He considers Loki for another long moment, though his mind is already just about made up. “You really do want this.”
“I really do want this, yes,” Loki echoes, acting like he’s put-upon, like Mobius can’t hear the obvious fondness in his voice.
Mobius studies him for another beat, another, another.
Then, he grins, too. A match to Loki’s.
“Well,” he says, squeezing Loki’s hand, “I guess you’d better start trying to put a baby in me, then.”
