This is one of those short reads that just marinate in your mind for a while. Just the concept of Jimmy travelling into this better life for only a fleeting amount of time is so heartbreaking and then the end note hits you with a one two punch. If your looking to sob ugly tears this is the fic for you!

This is sickening brutal but so so beautiful. Every chapter is just the slow decay of everyone in this fic and it does not disappoint with the angst, body horror, and nightmares. This entire thing is a grueling trudge and it is perfect. Read this again if you want an experience that will leave yourself tense and in awe of how one fic can absolutely shatter your mind I will be thinking about this one for a while...

A wonderful and emotional rollercoaster packed into six chapters and a time loop! This was just absolutely incredible and has interactions for practically any smajor ship you could ever want! The characterization was on point and just so fun to read. Pick this up if you need a pick-me-up or satisfying read!

Summary
It was weird—he’d shared the ice with people before, obviously, for warm-ups and gala skates, but something about this was different. It was like he couldn’t focus. It was…frustrating.
Scott tried to ignore it, but as he was skating backwards, building up to a lutz, his feet suddenly came out from under him and he went backwards in a way he hadn’t since his early days of skating. It was like all his previous fall-safety-knowledge had fled him in the seconds it took to fall, and he didn’t realize he even was until his head smacked against the ice. It wasn’t hard enough to see stars, thankfully, but it was apparently hard enough to stunlock him to the point Pearl had the time to skate over and gawk down at him.
“Are you okay?” She asked, holding out a hand for him to get up. He blinked once and took it, letting her help him right himself. “That looked like a bad fall.”

When pro figure skater Scott takes a nasty fall on the ice during practice he wakes up in a time loop that seems to revolve around fixing his no-good-very-bad-Christmas Eve (and finding love along the way).

This is so full of joy and whimsy I'm legit crying writing this HE HAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVE EVER AUGHHHHH! The beginning had me so stressed though so do NOT read this again unless your going to finish it (all good things need to have the low first this fic is absolutely worth the anxiety about Scott ruining his life). My music whilst reading this, I swear, was a paid actor going from coconut mall to make your own kind of music and finally ending off on valentine (yeah yeah I know this is a Christmas fic but laufey is just perfect for the kiss)!
