“So, Lettuce has a new toy?”
He studies them for as long as he’s allowed. Pristine netherite armour, an outfit that has to be custom-made by the Law, a distinct lack of personal features. This person, whoever they are, is a weapon.
There’s also no reply. They don’t want to be heard, so their voice must betray something. Whether it be an identity or a fear he’s not supposed to pick up on. Either way, Flame grins. He works best when there isn’t an ounce of personality behind his kill. And of course, since they represent the Law, any chance he would’ve shown mercy gets thrown right out the window. He doesn’t need to hold back on a person who’s obviously purely there to deliver Lettuce a head on a silver plate.
Or, Flame faces a stranger, a new weapon from the Law. It turns out they're actually the opposite of a stranger.

Summary
A mission gone wrong causes Jumper to crash land on a seemingly abandoned planet. However while exploring she stumbles upon a lifeless and damaged robot who she saves and fixes up. The robot, named Minute, doesn't really know who he is or how he got there, clinging to fragments of memories of the life he lost. Jumper has always longed for adventure and now it seems one has landed right in her hands. Together the two go on adventures, exploring the universe but there are dark forces at work, that will upend the lives of Jumper and Minute in ways they never could have imagined.

egg keeps trying to make minute talk to him and open up while wemmbu's doing his invisible knight thing. it's not like egg has anyone else to talk to, and he can't stand being alone. at least minute starts to warm up to him. eventually.
minute just needs to stay calm and not get triggered by anything (don't think about the invis mafia. don't. just don't) while stopping egg from doing stupid things. and maybe training him to fight, because he's gonna probably get himself killed one day. and if minute also starts to genuinely enjoy hanging out with egg, it's nobody's business but his own.
