‘45 degrees to your right.’ the voice commends, and somehow Ichigo knows he meant that the hollow was there. Without any hesitation, he swings his blade in the direction, and his eyes fly open involuntarily at the sensation of his blade cutting through flesh. He stares at the hollow howling as it slowly disintegrates.
‘Don’t let me see some lowly scum get the better of ya next time,’ Shiro warns before his presence fades into the background, ‘I ain’t got no interest sharing space with someone who does things halfway.’
‘Yeah, thanks.’ He mumbles, not in the mood to give back a snarky reply.

Soshiro tosses the phone back. It lands in the middle of Kafka's chest with a soft thud.
"Absolutely not."
With an energised grunt, Kafka throws himself onto the ground. Flopped out like a starfish starving for the ocean that refuses to wash over them. It's so silly. Worse, Soshiro is completely taken by it.
"But I'm really great at texting!" Oh lord, he's pouting now. "I have so many cool things to share."
Shuffling onto the edge of the bench, Soshiro pokes at him. If Kafka wants his number, he has to work a little for it.
"Like what?" He snaps his fingers. "Come on. Give me some examples."
"Argh. Don't rush me, it's hard to think under pressure!" A beat passes. "Just - you know, stuff…”
Having Kafka in his pocket is comedy gold. It's also everything Soshiro ever wanted.
