Whitaker is looking at him with the biggest, bluest eyes John's ever seen. “You're Park the Shark’s roommate?”
John snorts. “No.”
“Oh, I—”
“We live together,” he clarifies. “We started dating when I was finishing my R3.”
Whitaker squeezes the saline so hard he squirts it up the patient's arm.

Shane Hollander ✅ @shanehollanderofficial
I’ve seen many publications over the years speculating on my own, and my husband’s, hockey stats and accolades in relation to our romantic relationship and when the public assumes it started. We don’t owe this to anyone. But we’ve also been playing professional hockey for seventeen years and we’ve both run out of ahem, cares to give.
On the right is a photograph from the behind the scenes of our joint CCM advertisement in July of 2010. This photo predates the hundreds of combined accomplishments listed on the left.
Oh, and it was also taken about six hours before our first kiss.

Summary
Just a sweet little morning as a family.
--
Beside him, Gabriel woke with a start, body curling instinctively, searching for his machete. Aaron reached out, his hand darting from Coco’s shoulder and towards Gabriel. His palm landed on Gabriel’s chest, and he pressed firmly against him. Aaron could feel the thundering of Gabriel’s heart under his palm, but he could feel his breathing start to even out too.
“Not a walker,” Aaron said, in caution, his voice rough from disuse. He watched Gabriel blink the sleep from his eyes, his mind catching up with the sight before him.
“I can see that,” Gabriel said, with a small smile. He grunted as Coco clambered over Aaron to get to him, her bony limbs digging into the both of them as Gabriel collapsed back against the mattress. “A walker would have stopped to eat you first.”
“And given you a few more blessed minutes to sleep,” Aaron agreed, not even fighting back the smile of his own.
