Summary
Sunny isn't the only one who finds himself in headspace when he dreams.
Headspace is universal.However... things are never exactly what they seem to be. Headspace is different for everyone.
Aubrey isn't pleased to find herself back in her own head. Especially not after the time she's been having recently. She's recently lost one of the few places of respite she had left... and she's not exactly in a good place. She's pissed off, lashing out, on the verge of having a breakdown... and just generally not having a great time.
Without a white space to retreat to, Aubrey ventures the massive cityscape that is her headspace, where escapism is nowhere to be found, and her gang is actually a bunch of space pirates. All the while, Someone lurks in the back alleys, bringing out the worst in Aubrey as they desperately try to reach out to her.

Summary
She sees him again. The man from the bar, this time at the bus stop. The one she takes when she’s running late for work. He doesn’t notice her and she pretends to not notice him, passing briskly on the sidewalk and continuing on her way.
They are two separate lines that happen to have a point of intersection. That’s it. That’s all it is, all it ever will be.
A single point in time.

Abigail Brooks has recently begun having nonsensical dreams. Coincidentally, she’s also recently met Leeroy Mateo.
She can’t seem to shake the feeling the two are connected.

Summary
Kris had to go after her. She couldn’t carry the weight of the prophecy on her shoulders, not alone. That’s what friends were for… or at least, that’s what they thought.
They wanted to reassure her, on their own.
With no echo behind them,
the words came out—raw and unfiltered, exactly as they meant them. Exactly what they wanted to say.Following the events of Chapter 4, after Kris tears out their soul, they go after Susie. The things that happened at the end of the chapter were just so heavy, man—there’s no way they’d just go to sleep.

Summary
Mom says, I love you. Kris thinks that’s probably true.
Mom says, Asriel will be coming home for break. He will be so happy to see you. Kris wonders if he will even know the difference, if he’ll see what their mother can’t. They’ve always been a weird kid— people have told them that their whole life, but someone should have noticed.
Someone should have noticed, right?
(or, self loathing becomes a complicated thing when you're not entirely sure who you are.)
