Well, little did you know that this Shinigami has taken an interest in you and even wants to know more about you.

You and Misa are best friends. This takes place in the Death Note story where she broadcasts, and you both go from there. She tells Light you know him, and he lowkey gets mad as hell. Light Yagami has played the role of the perfect student well, but it's become terribly boring. She uses a magical notebook, the death note, to try and fix the world, while an odd lady detective tries to catch her and a fledgling actor tries his best to earn her affection.
This is the updated version of Blue Moon, which I began and then abandoned in 2017...

Cornered in the Yellowbox Warehouse, Light manages to escape by revealing himself as the 16th Remnant of Despair and calling for help from two of his own, without a notebook but causing unimaginable losses to the members of the task force and the SPK.
As the de facto successor to Junko Enoshima and leader of both the Remnants of Despair and the misguided Warriors of Hope, it's Light's turn to play, and he is no longer playing nice. Under Light's guidance, the Remnants rapidly gain ground and cause catastrophe to tear down the world and build it anew.
As the newest members of the Future Foundation, Aizawa, Matsuda, and Near work with the killing game survivors to gather up the Remnants. When Makoto Naegi suggests a way to return Remnants to their original selves with the help of an AI version of the late Chiaki Nanami and L Lawliet, it is a method hesitantly accepted. But everything goes wrong upon Monokuma ending up in the Neo World Program.
In the end, the survivors of the Yellowbox Warehouse must confront their pasts and the dark secrets of the Future Foundation when forced into a killing game of their own.
