Apophis knows all about them, the children of Geb and Nut. He knows the devastation that will follow after they are born, and he doesn't like it one bit! Why even allow such a thing? Why not just let him devour the cosmos as intended? His worries are placated by Heka, who commands this experiment to continue. So Apophis watched, and he waited.
The day came, and with the emergence of each child, the uneasy feeling that grew in his gut worsened. But for the last bundle of joy, he was intrigued. Apophis watched this child of chaos closely as he burst forth from the womb, waiting with infinite patience for the day that they would meet...
A dangerous obsession would soon develop, and he was no longer sure if he was meant to destroy the beautiful God of Chaos or serve at his feet for all of eternity. One thing that the Demon Serpent knew with certainty was that he would have rivals for the heart of Seth, and he was prepared to do whatever it took to come out on top!
