Mordred saw it often, when he was near the woman with the white hair and the red eyes, when he was sparring with Diarmuid, when he was talking with the Archer in red, when he was near any of the other Knights that had been summoned to Chaldea. Father was happy, and Mordred . . . was happy too. Or at least he should have been, because this was his wish, wasn’t it? But he couldn’t be happy, because Father wasn’t happy around him. And Mordred wanted to scream, to rage and yell, because every time Father’s smile slid off his face at the sight of the Knight of Rebellion, Mordred was transported back to that room, his news ringing in the air, his father’s indifference. Shouldn’t he have been happy too? Finally, it didn’t matter if Guinevere hadn’t produced a child, Mordred was his son! He had an heir! But his father hadn’t been happy, hadn’t even looked at him, and all the delight in Mordred’s heart had turned into hatred so great it choked off all logical thought.
He thought he was better, he thought understanding what he wanted would help change that.
But now, Father was happy and smiling, and Mordred . . .

Summary
Many years after her disappearance, December Holiday returns. But she isn’t the same, and she isn’t whole. Her body is twisted by her time in the dark, leaving her all but chained to it. She and her mother need Kris’ help to return her to the way she was and thwart the Angel’s Prophecy in the process. They don’t hesitate to agree, but in order to help, they need to prepare. They need to become stronger.
These are some of the nights they spend with Dess trying to do just that. At the same time, they do their best to return some semblance of normalcy to her life.
This along with trying to keep their feelings for her, still smoldering after so many years, under wraps.
They are successful at two of those three things.

Summary

Frisk climbs a mountain and inadvertently awakens an ancient terror sleeping beneath the flowerbed they land on when they fall. If by "ancient terror" one assumes the less-popular definition of "annoying narrator-ghost princet of monsterkind who is now, unfortunately, permanently stuck in their head."
Chara doesn't want to be awake. They especially don't want to be helpless in the back of a bloodthirsty human's head, watching them ruin the only home they've ever known with no power other than their voice to fight back with. Luckily for them, that's not what's happening at all. Unluckily for them, they may have to re-evaluate a few things about their worldview. Which, for someone as set in their ways as them, is not an easy thing to do.
(Then there's the matter of the weird flower, Frisk's unusual powers, and the Longest of Long Days the underground has ever seen.)Chara & Frisk no player AU true pacifist. Completed!
