Summary
A corporate miscommunication ends up seeing two members of the Z-Team cut at the end of Episode 3. This action sets in motion new events as a nefarious organization leaps upon the opportunity to claim two fallen heroes. Summary
In the world of Dispatch, superhero work isn’t an easy job, nor is being the one sending the heroes into missions. Sometimes the job and the perks take a toll on the mind.
This is especially true for Lucy Winthrop, the newly hired employee at SDN’s Hamilton, Ontario branch with a beastly power she can’t fully control. Through years and years of training and emotional regulation, she’s managed to keep her horrific abilities in check, so much so her emotional intelligence skills catch the attention of her boss, leading to her being hired for a different position: SDN Mental Health Counsellor.
Now, Lucy has to spend every day listening to the struggles of the people who save the people, helping them manage the hardships of their daily lives while keeping her own life under control.

So people like me? The average Joe whose granddad wasn’t exposed to experimental radiation or fell into a toxic river, or was born under the star or Orias or something? We’re the soap bubbles. The thin paper people who still get torn, punctured, burned, and broken when not handled with care.
It sucks. But that’s also true of life. So it's not a huge deal.
