“Why are you doing this?” Shuichi spoke softly, he was lost in the sight in front of him. They were so close; he could see every detail of Kokichi. He could see how his dark purple hair became lighter at the ends, and how his matching purple eyes seemed to shine when the moonlight crashed against them.
“Because you stole my heart.” Kokichi looked directly at him with a mischievous smile, but his eyes… Even if they were as indecipherable as always, Shuichi could have sworn that they had a lovingly shimmer on them, making his heart skip a beat.
For a second, he felt butterflies in his stomach, he found himself wanting those words to be true, but he knew better. It was Ouma he was dealing with after all, his mind is always up to no good. He was probably just looking to get a reaction out of him, and for some reason that infuriated him.
“That’s a lie, isn’t it?” Shuichi uttered a little bit more aggressive that he intended, with his eyebrows furrowed and an annoyed tone in his words, looking directly at Kokichi’s purple eyes, searching for a hint that might tell him what was going on that unreadable mind of his.

“Solitary confinement?”
“That’s only because of the fish,” Klee says flippantly. “Among other things. Anyway. It’s one of my best friends!”
“And it protects you how?” Al-Haitham says carefully.
“Oh.” Klee blinks. “It’s a bomb.”
Al-Haitham stands up suddenly. “Let’s go find your gege, okay?”
In her search for Kaeya, Klee unwittingly becomes the catalyst for Al-Haitham and Kaveh's relationship. According to her, love is much simpler than they give it credit for.
