Summary
Atsushi teams up with Akutagawa under Dazai’s command on a simple mission to clean up after a time-traveling skill user, but things go south when he accidentally walks into a trap and finds himself transported eight years back in time. Horror formed in the pit of Dazai's stomach as he watched Atsushi’s hands transform into claws. He watched as those claws started dragging bloody caverns down the hollows of Atsushi’s throat.
Still, Atsushi was screaming, even as Dazai ran forward. The boy had flinched at his touch but now Dazai had no choice, trying his best to ignore the painful twist in his chest at Atsushi’s pleading cries to please please, don’t touch me. Don’t touch me. Don’t touch- as he slapped his hands around Atsushi’s claws, activating No Longer Human without a second's delay.

“You’re-” Atushi faltered, “You’re Dazai Osamu, leader of the Port Mafia. You’re my boss,” there was another pause, “And you’re supposed to be dead.”
