Summary
First Kaveh uses galvanized steel to create the frame of their new home, then he fixes them with expansion screws borrowed from auntie a few houses down the neighbourhood. Then, he uses eco-friendly wood veneers, because he cares about the environment, to give shape to the new house.
Even if a Sumpter Beast were to walk across it, the structure still stands. If Kaveh were still studying in the Akademiya, his professor would have stood on the house for ten minutes to demonstrate its strength.

Something is missing.
He can’t find it, but he has no idea what it may be. Al-Haitham usually has a good memory. He remembers everything he’s read and he knows everything that he owns, but that damn itch won’t leave him.
OR: Al-Haitham, in the midst of an investigation, meets a man he’s already in love with.

Summary
“There’s only one problem, though.”
“And that is?”
“I’m out of practice,” Alhaitham admits, words paced in that way he does when he’s a little embarrassed.
Kaveh grins, hands on his hips. “Well that’s an easy fix. That’s what your senior’s here for, after all. We won’t even be in the middle of the dance floor, so a few quick steps should do the trick.”

Or, Kaveh teaches Alhaitham how to slow dance.

Summary
Alhaitham’s jaw tightens, arms crossed over his chest. “Leave then, if that’s what you truly want.”
“Okay, I know you like to think you know better than me, but you could at least pretend to be happy for me.” Kaveh waves a hand in the air with a dry laugh. “Rejoice, even! You’ll have the house all to yourself now. I’d say that’s a cause for celebration.”
“You’re many things, Kaveh, but I never thought you a fool,” Alhaitham’s voice is cold, yet it simmers with temper. A dormant volcano.
