Summary
What starts as some sort of unknown abdominal issue turns into something nigh-incomprehensible, as Wei Ying's life is flipped wildly around--and yet, somehow, a lot of things just don't really change.
A modern-sci-fi AU with a lighthearted tone and a lot of tentacles!

Summary
Wei Ying's roommate is perfect in almost every way. He's quiet, pays the rent on time, never makes a mess, never makes noise, and spends most of his time in his room-and it's driving him mad. When a chance encounter leads Wei Ying to finally breaking the ice with his roommate, he starts going mad in a different way. The "I think I'm falling in love with my roommate" way.
Lan Zhan's past follows him everywhere he goes with the exception of one place-his new apartment. His roommate is a kind eyed and gentle soul, and Lan Zhan is smitten. Since he's never heard of Lan Zhan or his circumstances, as long as he stays quiet the beautiful man will never know how strange he is. But when he and Wei Ying form an unexpected friendship, Lan Zhan discovers the one person he wishes to hide his past from might be the one person he doesn't need to.

Summary
"We're closed"
"I know I know but your door was unlocked so technically you're only mostly closed right?"
"Closed to the public. You may come back in one hour."
"Come on, please, don't kick me out, just let me hide here for a bit, I won't be any trouble. In fact I'll help, those shelves still need to be stocked right?"
He points at the shelves near the new display and the boxes of books sitting next to them.
"Chased by whom?"
"Oh you know, fans." Wei Wuxian says it cheekily.
OR Wei Wuxian is a world famous musician and Lan Wangji never listens to anything other than classical and doesn't use social media so he has no idea...
