At Camp Evermere in the summer of 1960, secrets hum beneath the pines. Evermere is supposed to be safe. But in the golden haze of June, rivalries flare, old wounds reopen, and the past refuses to stay buried. As Knox and Izzie circle each other—enemies, maybe, or something softer—truths begin to unravel: about Danforth, about friendship, about the families we make when the ones we’re born into fail us.
