Summary
At the age of 16, the princess Morgana is promised to the then 11 Prince Merlin, which disgusts her brother Arthur.
Every summer for 9 years, Merlin comes to visit and spend time with Morgana and her brother. However, the unexpected happens when the bookish Merlin finds himself falling for the clotpole golden prince instead.
After a messy reveal of their secret affair, Merlin is kidnapped and vanishes. In spite of this, Arthur does not give up hope and swears to search for Merlin to the end.
this fic is loosely based on the 1994 animated movie “The Swan Princess”
