Summary
Jo was, in most aspects, obviously an alpha. Anyone could tell just walking by him. He had the height and the rich cocoa and leather scent to back it up.
However, his non-alpha-like qualities were also obvious. A quiet demeanor. Not easily offended. Introverted. Maki often called him an ‘alpha-lite’ for his lack of alpha posturing.

And really, that’s how he got into the situation he’s in now. The sweet scent of vanilla and grapefruit assaulting his nostrils. Plus, a warm, aroused omega on his lap, staring into his face.(or, the jofuma fic that nobody asked for)

“Of course I’d always give you what you need,” Fuma says, seriously, too dry for Maki to tell if he means… what it sounds like he means. Fuma’s always hard to read, even by his musky, turmeric scent. Mysterious as the dark side of the moon Maki sing-quotes to himself hysterically. “And I’d like to know some more about your plans. Do you want to be in your bed? In my bed? Do you want me to book a cycle hotel?”
“Uh,” Maki licks his lips. How is he having this conversation in the practice room? In front of seven members of whom at least some must be listening? But then he knows why – like Fuma says, it’s because he’s been avoiding chances to discuss this anywhere else, even though he’s the one who said he wanted to spend his first rut with Fuma.
