Sev’rance Tann was supposed to lead the Droid Armies against the corrupt Republic and the innefectual Jedi Order. Instead, she died a month into a three year conflict, her name all but forgotten to history save for those who played a strategy game in the early 2000s.
I was one of those.
And now I’m stuck in her body.

Ben could only sigh and raise a distasteful eyebrow at the cross shaped, red lightsaber he was given. Down the line other students were also handling their new weapons and robes with a raised eyebrow here and quizzical expression there.
"Really, uncle?"
"Really. I don't want to compete with the local Jedi population."

Summary
After Yavin, victory is only the beginning. Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles forge a new squadron from the scattered survivors of broken Rebel squadrons - a knife the Rebellion needs to fight the war in new and deadly ways. Luke's shortlist for recruitment includes an egotistical Pathfinder with a shady past, a resistance cell pilot with a reputation for jokes, a dour Imperial defector, and a 17-year-old girl with red-gold hair, hard green eyes, and a history she absolutely refuses to talk about.
