Legend fell out of the portal and landed in the water with a splash. He swam to the surface, ready to look for the nearest path to land, and…
Water stretched as far as the eye could see, and further still, on to the edges of the world. This was an ocean. Wind’s world, maybe? The sky above enclosed the world, bright blue dotted with fluffy white. It thankfully didn’t look like it would storm soon, but Legend knew how quickly that could change on the water. The portal above that had dumped him here had disappeared. Great, a separation portal. Legend loved those.

The portals dump Legend, alone, in the middle of the Great Sea. His rescuer is not what he seems. Legend is not doing well.

Summary
Legend hated knights. Legend hated pompous nobles who breezed through life without a care in the world, smiling at those beneath them.
Most of all, Legend hated Warriors' stupid perfect pretty boy grin.
But the more he sees it, the more his perception shifts. He still hated the grin, but the root of his hate began to shift from hating how it made Warriors appear insufferable to how it concealed the lies Warriors wasn't brave enough to tell.

Summary
Hyrule could deal with the fall of the city.
Hyrule could deal with the time loop.
But both at once seems a bit much to ask of a guy.
The memory loss following his apparent death in a previous loop isn't helping.
He can't remember this place, or how long it's been, or this Legend guy who says he knows him, or how to fight the giant metal laser spider monsters, or anything at all since he stepped through that first portal, really.
But he's here now and this problem isn't going to solve itself.
This ain't his first apocalypse.

Summary
Shroud doesn’t make the mistake of gloating when Robert hands him the real Astral Pulse, instead just shoots him square in the chest when he’s calculated his success rate. This means Invisigal doesn’t make it to him in time, Robert dies.
That should have been the end of things. Instead, though, Robert wakes up a few months in the past, at the point where he woke up from the coma after the crash that put his suit out of commission. This time, Robert tells himself, things will end better.
